PICTURE PERFECTFamily photographs tend to tell stories, where one photograph is a glimpse of an occurrence but the accumulation of pictures reveals echoes of consistent ideas. These images have the power to conjure up memories, sometimes painful of bygone times. However, the reason behind most photographs is to celebrate and store a joyful remembrance. 'Picture perfect', alludes to the idealized setting and composition where every detail is minutely scrutinized to obtain a perfect upshot.
However, the meaning of these 'perfect' images change course as they are transformed from being mere images of remembrance to complex visuals which tell a new story with every alteration, thus complicating the underlying narrative.
