The Karachi independent music scene has been making strong waves in the past year or so, and the high tide has brought to shore some very eccentric gems. Part of this new wave of music are the talented Sikandar ka Mandar and their enchanting yet awkward presence. Nadir Shehzad Khan who's seen here doing vocals and ukulele has been actively involved with the Karachi indie scene, resulting in the underrated initiative known as Lussun TV.
We had the pleasure of having Sikandar ka Mandar in their entirety on our set and they belted out two magical captivating songs for this session. With the studio silent and filled up only by their beautiful sounds and the slight Karachi chill in the air, they managed to string our feelings into their session and we were lost in the moment.
